Preparing for use / Cleaning / Disposal

F irst insert the desired picture into the scale as
described in the section on "Replacing the

time to replace the batteries. If you operate the
scale with too weak batteries, this is indicated in

I f this happens, replace the exhausted batteries
by two new batteries of the same type

D o not use chemical cleaners or scouring
agents for cleaning the device.

C lean the device using a slightly moist cloth.
For more stubborn dirt you can also apply a
weak soap solution to the cloth.

N ever immerse the device in water or other
liquids. Ignoring this advice may damage the
device.

E nsure that no water enters the device. If this
does occur, then wait until the device has dried
out fully before you use it again.
Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recy-
clable materials, which you may dispose
of at local recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for
more details of how to dispose of your worn-out
product.
To help protect the environment, please
dispose of the product properly when it
has reached the end of its useful life and
not in the household waste. Information
on collection points and their opening
hours can be obtained from your local
authority.
Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in accord-
