Sequence Error. Call a service engineer.

Sensor Unit: Grid Error
If you select [OK], the system will separate the Grid component, then change to

force-Grid mode. In this case, the image quality cannot be guaranteed. If you
select [CANCEL], Grid component will be re-initialize.

Because of the Grid error, this image may have a quality problem.
Sensor Unit: Temperature Error

The internal temperature of the Sensor Unit exceeded the temperature limit.
Cannot capture images until the temperature goes below the limit.

Remedy
Touch [OK] to close the window, and then see
6.4 Deleting the Image(s) (→ page 58), and
delete the image.
Touch [OK] to close the window, and then see
1.2 Shutting Down the CXDI (→ page 5),
and turn off the CXDI.
When these errors occur, note the error code
and contact a Canon representative or
distributor.
• This cuts off control of the movable grid.
The grid lines appear over the image, and the
image quality cannot be guaranteed. To
continue with the exposure anyway, touch
[OK].
• Touch [CANCEL] to re-initialize the grid
unit.
Touch [OK] to close the window, and then
check the image. Perform exposure again if
there are any abnormalities.
Touch [OK] to close the window and try again
after a while.
Touch [OK] to close the window and lock the
slide adapter (optional unit) or the grid unit.
Touch [OK] to close the window, and then see
1.2 Shutting Down the CXDI (→ page 5),
and turn off the CXDI.
When these errors occur, note the error code
and contact a Canon representative or
distributor.
Touch [OK] to close the window. As image
quality will not be guaranteed, take an image
again.
