Installing a server certificate
1.
Launch Configuration Web.
For details, refer to "12.1 Launch Configuration Web" (page 93).
2.
Open the [Network] tab.
3.
Click [SSL/TLS].
4.
In "Certificate Installation", click [Edit].
5.
Click [Browse] in "File" and specify the server certificate file following the on-screen instructions.
Enabling SSL/TLS
1.
Launch Configuration Web.
For details, refer to "12.1 Launch Configuration Web" (page 93).
2.
Open the [Network] tab.
3.
Click [SSL/TLS].
4.
In "Setup", click [Edit].
5.
Set "Service" to [On].
6.
Click [Submit].
The scanner will restart automatically.

15.5.2 Installing a self-signed certificate

1.
Launch Configuration Web.
For details, refer to "12.1 Launch Configuration Web" (page 93).
2.
Open the [Network] tab.
3.
Click [SSL/TLS].
4.
In "Create CRT Key", click [Edit].
You can not create a CRT key if Self-signed Certificate or Security Certificate is enabled.
5.
Click [Submit].
Do not operate the browser until creation of the CRT key is complete. While the CRT key is being
created, screen updates and network communication may be slow.
6.
Click [Back].
7.
In "Self-signed Certificate", click [Edit].
8.
Click [Submit].
9.
Click [Back].
10.
In "Setup", click [Edit].
11.
Set "Service" to [On].
12.
Click [Submit].
The scanner will restart automatically.
