Step 14D: Activate Licenses
To activate the licenses, click Activate Licenses. A warning box displays telling you that the
MicroMAS operating system will be shut down and rebooted. The MicroMAS attempts to shut
down and reboot immediately.

Step 14E: Log out of eManager
From the eManager Menu, click Logout to exit eManager.
Step 14F: Set MicroMAS Static IP Address
This procedure is used to change the MicroMAS static IP Address from the default setting. The
MicroMAS must be mounted in the rack, the power cord plugged in and the IP cable installed
between the MicroMAS and the IP switch (LAN).
Note
1. At the MicroMAS console select Start > Control > Panel > Network and Internet connection.
Click on Network Connection.
2. Right click on Local Area Connection for labeled Intel PRO/1000MT Network Connection.
Then select Properties.
3. Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) then click on the Properties button.
4. Select "Use the following IP address," then enter the following:
IP Address:
Subnet Mask:
Default Gateway: <BLANK>
5. Click OK.
Step 14G: SES Voice Mail and ACD Setup
When the MicroMAS reboots log in to eManager. Refer to the Programming Manual Volume One
for setting up user accounts. Then program the CIX for SES and ACD applications as appropriate.

During the activation process, the MicroMAS cannot be processing calls. Any
current connection being processed by the MicroMAS is disconnected. In order not
to disrupt daily activity in your customer's business, you can choose to do the
activation process unattended during the evening/early morning hours by scheduling
the procedure using the Windows scheduling process.
If you have purchased a VCS license, then use VCS Manager to activate the license.
Refer to the VCS Installation, Programming and Maintenance Manual to upload and
activate the VCS license.
This procedure requires a monitor, keyboard and mouse connected directly to the
MicroMAS. Refer to
Figure 3
