Preface
The Toshiba Integrated Controller V series is a new integrated control system
suitable for the age of open and light-sizing. Based on the control and computer
technologies long accumulated, it implements an easy-to-use open system by
applying a standard multi-vendor network and simplified engineering package
software.
This manual describes the handling requirements, functions, and troubleshooting of
the V series model 3000 loop controller (L3 controller).
Be sure to read "Safety Precautions" before use, to ensure correct and safe
operation.
Note that the expenses for repair/replacement of worn or consumed products will be
charged even if request for the repair/replacement is made within the product
guarantee period.

Chapter 1 Overview of Loop Controller L3
Describes the L3 controller system configuration, the module configuration of the
main unit, and the name and function of each module.
Chapter 2 Mounting, Dismounting & Cable Connection
Describes the methods for mounting/dismounting a basic base unit/fan unit, and
various modules, as well as for cable connection.
Chapter 3 Installation & Wiring
Describes the methods for grounding the L3 controller, and presents some example
grounding works.
Chapter 4 Startup & Shutdown
Describes the startup and shutdown procedures for L3 controller.
Chapter 5 Troubleshooting
Describes the troubleshooting functions of the L3 controller, such as trace function.
Chapter 6 Maintenance & Inspection
Describes the maintenance/inspection procedures for the L3 controller, such as
routine inspection and periodical inspection.
