This section describes the method for mounting/dismounting a base unit and a fan unit.
• Do not touch rotary parts when power is applied; injury can be caused.
• Use a screwdriver suitable to M5 screws. Otherwise, screws can be damaged.
• The fan unit has an air inlet on the front panel. Secure a sufficient space in front of the fan
unit.
• Cooling air from the fan unit enters each module on the base unit from the bottom and is dis-
charged through the top. Therefore, secure a sufficient space on top of the modules
Mount a base unit/fan unit in the following procedure.
(1) Apply a fixing screw to each of four screw holes in the mounting bar of the console,
and temporarily tighten the screw by rotating it clockwise with a Phillips screwdriver.
Do not tighten the screw completely but leave two or three turns of thread.
(2) After confirming the vertical orientation of the base unit/fan unit, engage the base
unit/fan unit with the temporarily tightened screws by passing each screw head in
the larger section of each gourd-shaped mounting hole formed in the base unit/fan
unit.
(3) Tighten the four fixing screws completely to firmly secure the base unit/fan unit to the
mounting bar of the console.
