2.3 Mounting/Dismounting of Line I/O Terminal Unit

The following paragraphs describe the method for mounting/dismounting the line I/O
terminal unit of power supply module.
Before work, check visually or with a tester that no external cable is connected to the line I/O
terminal unit and that the unit is not in live state, i.e., no power is supplied to the unit.
Otherwise, electrical shock can be caused.
Use a screwdriver suitable to M3 screws. Otherwise, screws can be damaged.
2.3.1

Mounting

Mount a line I/O terminal on the power supply module in the following procedure.
(1) Holding the line I/O terminal unit so that I/O cable-connecting screws are positioned
on the left side viewed from the front, insert the unit in the terminal unit mounting
connector (male) of the power supply module.
(2) Tighten each of two fixing screws (M3.5) at top and bottom of the terminal unit by
rotating it clockwise with a Phillips screwdriver, to securely fix the terminal unit on the
power supply module.
2.3.2

Dismounting

Dismount the line I/O terminal unit in the following procedure.
(1) Remove each of two fixing screws at top and bottom of the terminal unit by rotating it
counterclockwise with a Phillips screwdriver, to raise the terminal unit off the front
panel.
(2) Pull the terminal unit to remove it from the mounting connector.
