2.2 Mounting and Removing Terminal Block Unit

In fixing a DIN rail, the spacing (p) between screws should be 250 mm or less,
and the distance (c) between a rail end and a fixing screw should be 50 mm or
less. The clearance (g) from the top or bottom of the base unit should be 35
mm or larger, and leave a stopper space (s) of 18 mm or more at left and right.

Mount the TB511, TB521 (TB522), UT5L12, and intelligent I/O from left to right.
Observe the following procedures in mounting the terminal block units.
(1) Fix DIN rails on the cabinet using screws.
In fixing DIN rains, the following conditions must be satisfied for easy mounting and
removal of terminal block units and for securing a given strength.
DIN rails made of iron, 15 mm high from the mounting surface, are
recommended.

In cases where a means of anti-vibration is necessary at top and bottom of the
terminal block unit because of the large vibration of the mounting face, it is
recommended that reinforcing supports (DIN rails, for example) be added as shown
below after mounting the terminal block unit.
