(3) External connectors
• OTR1/OTR2 (Optical connectors)
These are interface connectors used in connecting TOSLINE-S20LP. The optical
connector module is the two-way optical digital link ENQD55301 (made by Matsushita
Electronic Parts Co., Ltd.), and the connectors are of the send/receive integrated type
JIS-F07.
Use OTR1 and OTR2 as a pair, and connect them on the S20LP unit to form an optical
loop.
Applicable optical fiber (code/cable): H-PCF200/230 µm SI fiber
• Tool (8-pin modular connector)
This is a RS-232C interface connector for Engineering Tool. Signals are insulated
from the internal circuits. This connector is used only for initialization and
maintenance purposes.

• L1PU12H unit is provided with a battery module.
• Use the terminal block TB521.
Terminal block and pin assignments
The main unit and the terminal block are connected with a connector. External wires are
connected using M3 screws.
The 24V power supply to other units is connected via a through connector.

WDTOUT is ON output when operation is normal, and OFF output when an error occurs
or when power is off.
Note 1: Do not wire to pin 7.
Note 2: Connect the pin 8 common to pin 3.
Note 3: Pins 5 and 6 should be connected to either LD512H or the graphic panel.
Note 4: Negative signals of pins 4 and 8 should be connected to pin 3.
