Storage

1. Remove grass clippings, dirt, and grime from the
external parts of the entire machine, especially the
rollers and the engine. Clean dirt and chaff from
the outside of the cylinder-head fins and the blower
housing on the engine.
Important: You can wash the machine with mild
detergent and water. Do not pressure wash the
machine. Avoid excessive use of water, especially
near the engine.
2. For long-term storage (more than 90 days) add
stabilizer/conditioner additive to fuel in the tank.
A. Run the engine to distribute the conditioned fuel
through the fuel system (5 minutes).
B. Either shut off the engine, allow it to cool, and
drain the fuel tank, or operate the engine until it
shuts off.
C. Start the engine and run it until it shuts off.
Repeat the procedure with the choke on until the
engine does not start again.
D. Dispose of fuel properly. Recycle it according to
local codes.
3. Check and tighten all bolts, nuts, and screws. Repair or
replace any part that is worn or damaged.
4. Paint all scratched or bare metal surfaces. Paint is
available from your Authorized Service Distributor.
5. Store the machine in a clean, dry garage or storage area.
Cover the machine to protect it and keep it clean.
