SPE Slot Assignments
Any of the N STS-1 SPE slots available on the Line ports (N is
determined by the setting in the Line Port Mode field) can be assigned
to any of the four TDM pipes.
To assign an SPE slot to a desired TDM pipe, do the following:
a) Right mouse click over the matching SPE slot in the respective
TDM pipe column and select "Assign SPE slot #n".
b) If multiple SPE slots are to be assigned, repeat the previous
step for each such SPE slot.
c) Click Configure.
Note: An STS-1 SPE slot can be assigned to only one of the four TDM
pipes available. An assigned SPE slot must be first unassigned in
order to be assigned to a different TDM pipe.
To unassign an SPE slot from a TDM pipe, right mouse click over the
SPE slot in the respective TDM pipe column, select "Unassign SPE
slot #n" and click on the Configure button.
Note: The number of SPE slots assigned to a TDM pipe must be the
same at all ETHER-1000 / ETHER-100 units that are accessing it.
Note: When the user changes the Line Port Mode from CBW-N to
CBW-M where M<N then any assigned SPE slots between M+1 and N
will be unassigned from their respective TDM pipes.
D-PVLANs
D-PVLANs 1 to 15 are assigned to TDM pipe #1.
D-PVLANs 16 to 30 are assigned to TDM pipe #2.
D-PVLANs 31 to 45 are assigned to TDM pipe #3.
D-PVLANs 46 to 60 are assigned to TDM pipe #4.
These assignments cannot be changed.

Any ETHER-100 units on the same TDM pipe must have their "Qty Slots Used" field set to
match the number of SPE slots assigned to that TDM pipe on ETHER-1000 units.
