Before installing the driver

Make sure to attach the adapter to the CPU blade before you install N8403-012 driver. In
addition, before you attach N8403-012 adapter, make sure to turn off the CPU blade and
remove the CPU blade from Blade Server Assemble Unit.
Caution. Hot
Components in the server are hot to the touch when and after you
turn off the server. Use care until it becomes cool before you
remove the cover.
When you attach the adapter, remove CPU blade from
Blade Server Assemble Unit.
Before you attach this adapter to CPU blade, make sure to remove
CPU blade from Blade Server Assemble Unit.
Otherwise, you may get electric shock or the server may be
damaged.
When you have attached the adapter, you have to start CPU blade
and change a part of BIOS settings. For details, see Section 4.2
" Changing BIOS settings after attaching the adapter " on page 45.
