4.5.1 How to update the onboard LAN driver and remove Intel
Before you attach this product, confirm the network driver's version for the onboard LAN.
Update the driver if necessary. Remove Intel
How to confirm the onboard LAN driver version:
1.
Open [Local Area Connection Properties].
♦ Standard [Start] menu:
Select [Control Panel] from Start menu.
[Control Panel] is displayed. Click [Network Connections], then, [Local Area
Connection].
♦ Classic [Start] menu:
Select [Settings] →[Network Connections] from Start menu.
Right-click [Local Area Connection] icon. Select [Properties] from the shortcut
menu.

Click [Configure] button. [Network Adapter's Properties] is displayed.
3.
Select [Properties]. [Local Area Connection Properties] dialog box is displayed.
4.
Select [Driver] tab and confirm the version.
If the version is the same as the followings or newer, you do not need to update the

How to update the onboard LAN driver:
1.
Insert the driver CD that comes with this product into the CD-ROM drive which the
CPU blade is connected with.
2.
Start the command prompt on the CPU blade screen.
