Prerequisites
1. Remove the base cover.
2. Remove the battery.
Procedure
1. Open the latch and disconnect the touchpad cable from the system board.
2. Peel off the two adhesive tapes that secure the touchpad to the keyboard bracket.
3. Remove the three screws (M2x2.5) that secure the touchpad bracket to the palm-rest assembly.
4. Lift the touchpad bracket off the palm-rest assembly.
5. Remove the four screws (M2x2.5) securing the touchpad to the palm rest assembly.
6. Slide and lift the touchpad from the slot on the palm-rest assembly.
