3.3 Power-ON Threshold Voltage Settings

The threshold voltage used to judge whether the target system is connected (hereafter called "power-ON
threshold voltage") is set to 1.7 V at shipment. (Refer to Figure 3-1 JP4 Settings at Shipment.) To change this
threshold voltage, insert a 4-pin jumper (standard accessory) on which resistors have been mounted to JP4 as
shown in Figure 3-2. For the location of JP4, refer to Figure 2-1.

The threshold voltage can be obtained with the following equation.
Threshold voltage = 5 V × R2/(R1 + R2)
