Step 5 Reconnect the temperature and humidity sensor cable to the UIM.

gloves.

4.4.14 Replacing a Smoke Sensor

Prerequisites


Procedure
Step 1 Connect the ground cable to the ESD wrist strap, and put on the ESD wrist strap and ESD
gloves.
Step 2 Remove the smoke sensor, as shown in Figure 4-28.
Issue 04 (2019-11-15)
Hold down the button on the sensor and remove the upper cover.
Tighten the screws and secure the sensor base onto the cabinet.
Reconnect the removed cables to the new sensor base based on the recorded information.
Properly place the upper cover of the sensor and secure it to the base.
You have obtained an ESD wrist strap, a pair of ESD gloves, an ESD box or bag, the
cabinet door key, and a maintenance tool kit.
The new smoke sensor is intact.
