Power supply and power cord use

Do not hold the power plug with a w et hand.
Do not disconnect/connect the plug w hile your hands are w et. Failure to follow this w arning may cause an
electric shock.
Do not connect the ground w ire to a gas pipe.
Never connect the ground w ire to a gas pipe. Failure to follow this warning may cause a gas explosion.
Plug in to a proper power source.
Use a grounded outlet w ith the specified voltage. Use of an outlet w ith a voltage other than that specified
causes fire and electrical leakage. Do not install the console draw er in any environment that requires an
extension cord. Connecting to a cord that does not conform to the pow er supply specs of the console
draw er causes overheating, resulting in fire.
Do not connect many cords into a single outlet by using extension cords.
The electric current exceeding the rated flow overheats the outlet, w hich may cause a fire.
Secure the power plug into the outlet.
Insert the plug of pow er cords into the outlet completely. Arc tracking may be caused by inserting the plug
halfw ay and the possibility of fire is increased.
Do not use any unauthorized power cord.
Use only the interface cables provided w ith the device. Electric current that exceeds the amount allow ed
could cause fire.
Also, observe the follow ing precautions to prevent electrical shock or fire caused by a damaged pow er
cord.
Do not unplug the power cord by holding the cable part.
Pull the pow er cord straight out by holding the plug. Pulling the pow er cord by holding the cable part or
applying extra pressure to the connector may damage the cable part, w hich may cause a fire or electric
shock.

・ Do not stretch the cord harness.
・ Do not bend the pow er cord.
・ Do not tw ist the pow er cord.
・ Do not step on the pow er cord.
・ Uncoil the pow er cord before use.
・ Do not secure the pow er cord with staples or
equivalents.

CAUTION
・ Do not pinch the pow er cord.
・ Keep chemicals aw ay from the pow er cord.
・ Do not place any object on the pow er cord.
・ Do not alter, modify, or repair the pow er cord.
・ Do not use a damaged pow er cord. Replace the
damaged pow er cord with a pow er cord of the
same standard. Contact your sales representative
for replacement.
