Connecting with KVM switch unit
The console drawer can be connected with more servers by using KVM switch unit.
Connection example is shown in the figure below.

1. Connect the VGA connector of the console drawer with the display connector of KVM switch unit by provided
VGA cable. (See ① in the figure above)

Notes on connecting cables
Turn off the console drawer, server, and peripheral devices

before connecting cables. If one of them is running when
connected, a m alfunction or failure m ay occur.
When connecting the VGA cable or switch unit cable

connector, firmly secure the connector with screws to console
draw er, KVM switch unit, and the server. Loose cable
connection may cause the screen display to be shifted or not
to appear.
