4. Troubleshooting
If the console drawer does not operate as intended, check it according to the contents of the following checklist
before sending it for repair. If an item in the checklist corresponds with a problem you are experiencing, follow the
subsequent check and processing instructions.
If appropriate items are not found or the state of the console drawer does not improve even after taking the measures
indicated, stop operating the drawer and contact the your maintenance service provider.
4.1 LCD power LED
LCD power LED does not go on.

□ Is the power cord connected correctly?
Check if the power cord is connected correctly according to page 55.

Check if the power cord is connected to a power outlet (or UPS) that meets the power specifications for

the console drawer.
Be sure to use the power cord appropriate for the console drawer. Check the power cord for broken shield

or bent plugs.
Check that the breaker of the AC outlet to which the power cord is set to ON.

If the power cord is connected to the UPS, check that the power of the UPS is set to ON and the power is
→
supplied from the UPS. Refer to the manual provided with the UPS for details.
□ Did you press the LCD power switch?
Check that the LCD power switch is surely pressed.

□ Is the power breaker for the connected power outlet or UPS on?
If not, turn on the breaker (or UPS).

The LCD power LED lights amber. Or, the message "NO SYNC SIGNAL" or "POWER SAVING" appears

when [MENU / ENTER] switch on monitor switches area is pressed.
□ Is the power management feature of the server enabled?
The power management feature of the server may be enabled. Press any key on the keyboard, or move

the touchpad.
□ Is cable connected correctly?
The cable may not be connected correctly. Check cable connection according to page 55.

□ Is the server powered?
The server may be off-powered. Check if the server is powered by viewing LED on the server.
