This selects the direct search operation.
0000 DIAL 0: Direct search mode
0001 KEY 1: Non-direct search mode (search dial operations are
acknowledged only in the STILL mode).
This selects the maximum speed in the shuttle mode.
0000 x8.4 0: 84 times normal speed
0001 x16 1: 16 times normal speed
0002 x32 2: 32 times normal speed
This selects the maximum speed of fast forwarding and rewinding.
0000 x16 0: 16 times normal speed
0001 x32 1: 32 times normal speed
0002 x50 2: 50 times normal speed
This selects the status to be established until the audio signals are
output when the unit has transferred from the STOP mode or
search mode to the PLAY mode.
0000 OFF 0: The time taken until the audio signals are output is reduced.
0001 ON 1: The audio signals are output after the mode transfer has been
completed.
This selects the output signals in the E-E mode.
0000 NORMAL 0: The signals, which have been delayed by the time taken to
process them internally, are output.
0001 THRU 1: The signals are not internally processed and output in their
original form without a delay.
<Notes>
O "0: NORMAL" is forcibly selected when assemble or insert
editing mode has been selected even with internal connections
(INT mode) or even in the EXT/SEPARATE mode.
O The "THRU" mode is always set for VTR1.
0000 0 (VTR1) This selects the PLAY mode startup time in frame increments.
<Note>
0005 5 (VTR2) When VTR1 and VTR2 are connected to external components
and controlled from them, set the same PLAY DELAY value for
0015 15 the whole system.
This selects the CAPSTAN LOCK mode when the SYNCHRO
switch has been set to CF.
0000 4F 0: 4F mode
0001 8F 1: 8F mode
<Note>
In the 525i mode, this setup menu item does not appear.
This selects the processing to be conducted when the tape end
0000 OFF has been detected.
0001 ON 0: The tape is stopped when it comes to the end.
1: The tape is rewound to its start.
