For setting 7.5% setup processing to be performed on input and
output signals in the 50 Mbps mode.
(The 00, 01, 02 and 03 settings on the submenu can be displayed
by pressing the STILL button. To return to this menu from the
submenu, press the STILL button again.)
<Note>
In the 625i mode, this setup menu item does not appear.
This selects the 7.5% setup processing for the input composite
signal.
0000 THRU 0: The signal is recorded in its original form.
0001 CUT 1: The signal is recorded with the 7.5% setup removed.
This selects the 7.5% setup processing for the output composite
signal.
0000 THRU 0: The signal is output in its original form.
0001 ADD 1: The signal is output with the 7.5% setup added.
<Note>
Bear in mind the setting selected for submenu item No.03
(CMPNT OUT).
This selects the 7.5% setup processing for the input component
signal.
0000 THRU 0: The signal is recorded in its original form.
0001 CUT 1: The signal is recorded with the 7.5% setup removed.
This selects the 7.5% setup processing for the output composite,
component and serial digital signal.
0000 THRU 0: The signal is output in its original form.
0001 CUT 1: The signal is output with the 7.5% setup removed.
This selects the wide-screen information which is to be written on
the tape during recording.
0000 AUTO 0: The setting for the tape in VTR2 complies with the wide-screen
information of VTR1 with internal connections (INT mode) if ON
has been selected as the setup menu item No.643 (INT WIDE I)
setting.
Alternatively, if OFF has been selected, the information is
forcibly recorded on the tape as the normal mode. It is also
forcibly recorded on the tape as the normal mode when the
OPERATION MODE switch has been set to EXT or
SEPARATE.
In terms of the tape in VTR1, the information is forcibly recorded
as the normal mode.
0001 WIDE 1: The information is recorded on the tape forcibly as the wide
mode.
0002 NORMAL 2: The information is recorded on the tape forcibly as the normal
mode.
<Notes>
O The wide-screen information on the SDI signal cannot be
detected.
O In the wide-screen mode, "W" lights on the display tube.
This selects how the VTR1 wide-screen information is to be used
for detecting the VTR2 wide-screen information while AUTO has
been selected as the setup menu item No.641 setting when the
internal connections (INT mode) apply.
0000 OFF 0: The information is not handled as wide-screen information.
0001 ON 1: The information is handled as wide-screen information.
