OPERATION

WORK EQUIPMENT CONTROLS AND OPERATIONS

If the lever is operated when the engine speed has been lowered by the auto-deceleration function, the engine speed will
suddenly rise, so operate the levers carefully.
The work equipment is operated by the left and right work
equipment control levers. The left work equipment control lever
operates the arm and swing, and the right work equipment control
lever operates the boom and bucket.
The movements of the lever and work equipment are as shown in
the diagrams on the right. When the levers are released, they
automatically return to the neutral position and the work equipment
is held in place.
If the work equipment control levers are returned to the neutral
position when the machine is stopped, even if the fuel control
dial is set to FULL, the auto-deceleration mechanism will act to
reduce the engine speed to a mid-range speed.
REMARK
With this machine, an accumulator is installed in the operating
circuit, so if less than 15 seconds has passed since the engine was
stopped, when the starting switch is turned to the ON position even
when the engine is stopped, it is possible to operate
the levers to lower the work equipment to the ground.
In addition, this operation can also be used to release the
remaining pressure in the hydraulic cylinder circuit or to lower the
boom after the machine has been loaded onto a trailer.
