Adjusting the
Traction-Pedal Angle
1. Loosen the 2 nuts and bolts securing the left side
of the traction pedal to the bracket

2. Pivot the pedal to the desired operating angle
and tighten the nuts
Checking the
Planetary-Gear-Drive Oil
Service Interval: Every 400 hours (check if you
notice external leakage).
Every 400 hours
Use high quality SAE 85W-140 gear lube as a
replacement.
1. With machine on level surface, position the
wheel so 1 check plug is at the 12 o'clock
position and the other is at 3 o'clock position
(Figure
81).

2. Remove the plug at the 3 o'clock position

Note:
The oil level should be at the bottom of
the check-plug hole.
3. If the oil level is low, remove the plug at the 12
o'clock position and add oil until it begins to flow
out of the hole at the 3 o'clock position.
4. Install both plugs.

Changing the
Planetary-Gear-Drive Oil
Service Interval: After the first 200 hours
Every 800 hours/Yearly (whichever comes first)
1. With the machine on a level surface, position a
wheel so a check plug is at the lowest (6 o'clock)
position

2. Place a drain pan under the planetary hub,
remove the plug, and allow the oil to drain.
3. Place a drain pan under the brake housing,
remove the drain plug, and allow the oil to drain
(Figure
