10. The Create a really memorable password window will appear.
• Enter a password in the Password field, and then click the Next button.
• The Confirm your password window will appear. Re-enter the password in the
Confirm password field, and then click the Next button.

Even if you select Japanese as the language to be used, the keyboard layout for
Windows is set to the English keyboard by default in the Create an account for this
PC window.
Therefore, even if you enter a value from the Japanese keyboard, the entered
symbols and special characters will differ from the notation of the Japanese
keyboard because Japanese input is not enabled.
If you want to use Japanese, symbols, or special characters for the username,
password, and password hints, temporarily set them with alphanumeric characters to
complete the setup, and then reset them later.
11. The Create security questions for this account window will appear.
• Select a question from the Security questions (1 of 3) drop-down list, and enter the
answer in the Your answer field.
Set three security questions.
• Click the Next button.
12. The Do more across devices with activity history window will appear.
• Click the Yes or No button as required.
13. The Choose privacy settings for your device window will appear.
• Specify on or off for each setting as required, and click the Accept button.
14. After setup is completed, you will be signed in automatically.
15. The Welcome to Micfosoft Edge window will appear.
• Click the Get started button.
• Click the Next button.
• Click the Done button.
• Exit the Microsoft Edge.
