11. Remove Bevel gear and inspect for
damage, chips, or cracks.
12. Remove Planetary Shaft Pin(Fig. 12)
and remove the Planetary out the
bottom, be careful not to drop it on the
base and damage the base.( Fig. 13)

13. Remove follower gear and inspect for
damage. Chips, missing teeth, or
cracks.(Fig. 14)

14. Remove the screw from the green cord
ground wire.(Fig. 15)

15. To remove the Lower Housing, remove
the 3 screws in the Lower Housing and
set it off to the side on a soft towel so it
does not get scratch. (Fig. 16)

16. Turn the column and base over and
remove the 3 screws in the base. Be
cautious not to drop the base it will fall
rd
as you take the 3
and final screw out.
