Anti-drip system
The steam iron has an anti-drip system to prevent water from dripping from the

Cleaning the housing and soleplate

Do not use abrasive, aggressive or chemical cleaning agents. These can
damage the surface and the soleplate
Clean the housing and the soleplate
If necessary, use a mild, non-abrasive cleaning agent.
Allow the steam iron to dry completely before using it again.
