9) To decalcify the soleplate
large container (e.g. a shallow bowl). You have previously put the remaining
descaling mixture into this container (see step 3).
10) Leave the descaling mixture to soak in for approx. 5 minutes.
11) Remove the steam iron from the container and empty the descaling mixture
into a sink.
12) Put fresh water in the container and dip the soleplate
rinse it off.
13) Remove the steam iron from the container and dry the soleplate
soft cloth.
Note
After descaling the steam iron, always carry out two rinsing cycles using the
self clean button
tank
suitable.

Storage

Note
Clean the appliance as described in the section Cleaning the housing
and soleplate before storing it.
Store the cooled down steam iron in a clean, dust-free and dry place away
from direct sunlight.
