Playing Specified Titles or Chapters
DVD videos store video material by titles (headings) and chapters (sub-
headings). You can specify a title or chapter, where you want playback to
begin.

Video CD
A video CD is video material using a CD (Compact Disc) as storage
medium. The CD-ROM contains compressed video data divided by con-
tents into numbered tracks. You can specify a track number, where you
want playback to begin.
Video CDs labeled "Playback Control" additionally let you make selec-
tions, such as a title, on an on-screen menu. The menu contents differ
with each CD.
