On-Screen Message of Current Playback Information
This function lets you display the following information about the current
disc on the screen.
HSTTINA
Press DISP during play.
= Information about the playback status of the current disc is dis-
played.

() Mode:
Shows the current operating mode.
(2) Title:
Shows the number of the title currently being played.
(3) Chapter (Track):
Shows the number of the chapter (track) currently being
played.
4) Time:
Shows the time that has elapsed since the start of playback.
(After resuming playback with the Resume Play function the
time elapsed since playback was resumed is shown.)

on the current disc Is not displayed
[On-Screen
Messages] on the Setup menu is set to [OFF (Disabled)]. To have
the information displayed, first change the setting in the Setup
menu to [ON (Enabled)]) (=> page 72).
