5.3 RAID Configuration Control Command (raidctrl) [B/T Model only]

The raidctrl command displays the status of the RAID and its drives. The command can also
forcibly disconnect a drive and change the setting for RAID. This command can be launched
at the command prompt. The following shows how to use this command.

raidctrl [/OFFLINE DRVNO] [/NOTIFY [{ON|OFF}]][/LOAD [{H|M|L}]][/BCC
[ON|OFF]]
<Description of the function>
The raidctrl command displays the status of the drives in the RAID, controls the
configuration of those drives, and changes the setting for RAID. This command offers one
of the following functions depending on the specified options.
• With no options:
The status of the RAID and the drives in the RAID will be displayed.
• When /OFFLINE option is specified:
The specified drive is forcibly disconnected and set to offline.
• When /NOTIFY option is specified:
You can switch whether notification is sent through the interface of this equipment
when a media error occurs.
• When /LOAD option is specified:
You can set the load to be put on the system during rebuilding.
• When /BCC option is specified:
You can set whether to enable BCC.
NOTE
• You need to have administrator privileges to execute this command except for
no options.
Start the command prompt as an administrator, and then execute the raidctrl
command.
In addition, you cannot execute those actions from a remote session except
for no options.
• Do not run multiple instances of this command at the same time.
