Using a pluggable transceiver (SFP/SFP+)

NOTICE
Electrostatic sensitive devices (ESD)
Plug-in transceiver are delivered in a carton. The cartons protect the plug-in transceiver against
direct contact and thus against ESD damages.
• Only unpack the plug-in transceiver in an ESD-protected mounting and installation area.
• Make sure that the corresponding safety measures are met if you use the plug-in transceiver:
• Before touching an ESD, discharge your own body. To this purpose, touch a conductive,
• Do not touch the electrical contacts of the PCB.
• Only always touch the plug-in transceiver at the metal enclosure.
