HP 3325B Remote Operation Command Set
Command Syntax
The following conventions apply to the HP 3325B HP-IB commands:
• The HP 3325B accepts data in 7-bit ASCII code and ignores the 8th (parity) bit.
• All spaces and lower case alphabetic characters are ignored by the HP 3325B;
they may be used to improve program readability.
• Under HP-IB control, two data transfer modes are available. Refer to the MD
command for more detail. An asterisk or line feed is required to terminate a
command string in data transfer mode 2.
• A semicolon can be used to separate commands (recommended but not required).
Range values may be in integer, real, or exponential form. For positive values,
only the first eleven digits of the mantissa are used. For negative values, only the
first ten digits of the mantissa are used. Leading zeros before the decimal point
are ignored.
