Pushing or Towing the Machine Forward (continued)
Do not push or tow the machine faster than 3 to 4.8 km/h (2 to 3 mph) or for more than
0.4 km (1/4 mile), because damage to the hydraulic system may occur. The bypass
valve must be open whenever you push or tow the machine.
4. When the machine is ready for operation, close the tow-bypass valve by rotating it back
90° (1/4 turn) before starting the engine.

Follow the tips below when hauling the machine.
• Use full-width ramps for loading the machine onto a trailer or truck.
• Tie the machine down securely.

Do not exceed 7 to 11 N∙m (5 to 8 ft-lb) torque to close the valve.
