CAUTION: Connect the red (+) and black (–) wires of the battery eliminator to the respective
positive and negative points of the power supply. Use the correct voltage that is 3.8 VDC,
maximum 4.2 VDC. Failing to properly connect the wires can damage your radio and/or the
power supply.

Assembling Procedures for Alternative Test Setup

NOTE: Use the RF Block for testing purposes only.
Procedure:
1 Lift up to open the VA connector seal on the back cover.
2 Align the RF plug to the VA connector with back cover attached.
NOTE: Lift the screw upwards so that the RF block can be inserted. Align the RF plug
with RF adaptor connector and screw with the antenna tower.
3 Carefully insert the RF plug into the back cover slot on the radio.
You will feel a slight friction when the RF plug is mated to the RF adaptor connector located
inside the back cover slot.
4 Gently push the RF plug deeper into the recess slot until it reaches the maximum level.
5 The screw on RF block is now aligned with the antenna tower. Tighten the screw by turning
clockwise until it touches the plastic block on the RF block.
