Using DOS-Based Functions

Two sound control utilities are stored on your hard disk
drive when you run the MediaDock 2000 Setup utility.
When using applications that run from MS-DOS, you may
need to change these sound settings.
The following two utilities let you adjust the speaker vol-
ume and change the DMA and IRQ addresses.
T
ESSVOL.EXE — allows you to increase or decrease
the volume of the sound coming from your MediaDock
2000.
T
ESSCFG.EXE — allows you to change DMA and IRQ
settings if your application requires that you do so.
Only change these settings if you try to run a DOS-based
application and you get no sound or poor sound from the
MediaDock 2000.
