Using the Software to Adjust the Volume

See the following sections for complete instructions on us-
ing software to control the volume.
See "Using DOS-Based Functions" in Chapter 3 for in-
structions on setting the volume via two sound control utili-
ties stored on your hard disk via the MS-DOS prompt.

Using Windows 95

Set the volume under Windows 95 as follows.

Open Windows 95. Locate the speaker icon in the bot-
tom right corner of the Windows 95 desktop. The
speaker is situated next to the time display.
A volume control appears. Use the VersaGlide on your

Versa 2000 computer to move the volume control up to
increase the volume, down to decrease the volume. Or,
select "Mute" to turn off sound completely.
Click in the area outside the volume control to exit the

Using Windows for Workgroups

Set the volume while running Windows for Workgroups as
follows.
Click on the Audio Applications icon in the Program

Click on the Volume Control icon. Use the VersaGlide
