Changing the Legacy I/O Board Battery

The lithium battery on the Legacy I/O board powers the real-time clock (RTC) for
three to four years in the absence of power. When the battery weakens, it loses
voltage and the system settings stored in CMOS RAM in the Real Time Clock
(such as the date and time) can be wrong. Contact your customer service
representative or dealer for a list of approved devices.
WARNING
There is a danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly
replaced. Replace the battery only with the same or an
equivalent type recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
