8 Disconnect the trailing cable connector from the cartridge carriage PCA.
9 If you need to change the trailing cable:
a Cut the two plastic ties that hold the
cable to the rear tray and bracket.

new ones
6 30 Removal and Replacement

b Free the cable from the rear tray and
bracket, pulling it up through the slot at
the top of the electronics enclosure
assembly.
c Use the old trailing cable as a template
to bend and crease the new trailing cable
to exactly match the creases in the old
trailing cable.
