Instrument Firmware Compatibility

Instrument Firmware Compatibility
To use the HP 8517B test set at frequencies up to 50 GHz, use an
HP 83650B or HP 83651B source.
If your network analyzer or source do not meet the required frequency
ranges for your measurement needs, you need to upgrade your system.
