The vocal versions of the songs have been recorded with profes-
sional singers and are very useful for practice. And one further point
on the On/Off button: whilst the device is powered off, the input and
output connectors of its back panel will be inter-connected. Therefore
the SilverCrest TM-210 acts as a pass-through device and you may
use your DVD player normally without having to change any cablings.

Troubleshooting

• The background music is played but no voice can be heard
through the loudspeakers.
Power the device on by using the On/Off button. Check the micro-
phone gain setting for the corresponding microphone. Check if the
switch for the desired microphone is set to "on".
• The music is distorted.
Turn the music volume control counterclockwise.
• The music sounds well but the voice is distorted.
Turn the corresponding microphone gain control counterclockwise.
• The loudspeakers output a high and sharp beep.
Feedback has occurred between loudspeakers and microphone.
There are different ways to avoid this. Turn yourself and the mi-
crophone facing another direction. Move yourself and the micro-
phone away from the speakers. Turn the mic gain control(s) coun-
terclockwise.
• The music or voice is too quiet.
The balance between music and voice volume can be set by using
the music volume control of your SilverCrest TM-210. Turn the
knob to the left or to the right to set a lower or higher music volume
whilst keeping the voice volume constant.
• If no picture is displayed nor a sound heard on your TV set, make
sure that you are using the proper SCART adapter to your TV set
and DVD player. You must use the SCART adapter (In) for your
TV set and the SCART adapter (Out) for your DVD player.
