Before requesting any repairs, confirm with the sections "When this message
appears" or "Is this a device failure?"
If the problem is not solved, note the following items and contact the store where this unit was
purchased or the Brother Call Center.
• Serial Number
• Firmware Version
• Symptoms
• Conditions when Occurred (What operations were being executed, etc.)
• Frequency (Frequently occurs/Occurs sometimes, etc.)
Confirm the serial number and firmware version according to "Confirming the firmware
version" on page 85.
