Console Commands

The procedures to connect a terminal to the bridge's console port and to start a console session
have already been covered in chapter 3, "Configuration" under "Starting a Console Session".
This section describes the rest of the console interface commands.
The bridge's console interface is command driven and has three menus of commands:
Main Menu commands are used to set certain console session characteristics, to run
diagnostics, and to access the other menus.
Config Mode commands are used to customize the bridge configuration and to edit the
address table.
Status Mode commands are used to check the bridge status, to gather bridge activity
statistics, and to read the bridge configuration.
Enter the first two characters of the commands to execute them, such as HE for the Help
command.
