Establish a connection with an
access point.
Connect to the access point as described
in steps 4 – 6 in "Using WPS-Compatible
Access Points" ( = 120) or in steps 2 – 4
in "Connecting to Listed Access Points"
( = 121).
Once the camera is connected to CANON
iMAGE GATEWAY via the access point,
an authentication code is displayed.
Keep this display on and available for
viewing until step 7 is complete.

Enter the authentication code.
On the smartphone or computer, enter
the authentication code displayed on the
camera and go to the next step.
A six-digit confirmation number is
displayed.

Check the confirmation number and
complete the setup process.
On the second screen in step 6, press
the [ ][ ] buttons or turn the [ ] dial
to choose [OK], and then press the [ ]
button to display the confirmation number.
Make sure the confirmation number on
the camera matches the number on the
smartphone or computer.
Press the [ ][ ] buttons or turn the [ ] dial to
choose [OK], and then press the [ ] button.
Complete the setup process on the
smartphone or computer.
CANON iMAGE GATEWAY and [ ]
( = 131) is now added as destinations,
and the [
A message is displayed on the
smartphone or computer to indicate that
this process is finished. To add other
Web services, follow the procedure
in "Registering Other Web Services"
( = 124) from step 2.
Connections require that a memory card with saved images be in
the camera.
Once you have connected to devices via the Wi-Fi menu, recent
destinations will be listed first when you access the menu. Press
the [ ][ ] buttons to access the device selection screen and
choose a device.

Registering Other Web Services

You can also add Web services besides CANON iMAGE GATEWAY to the
camera. Note that CANON iMAGE GATEWAY must be registered on the
camera first ( = 123).

Access the Web service settings
screen.
Follow step 1 in "Registering CANON
iMAGE GATEWAY" ( = 123) to log in
to CANON iMAGE GATEWAY, and then
access the Web service settings screen.

Configure the Web service you want
to use.
Follow the instructions displayed on the
smartphone or computer to set up the
Web service.
