Troubleshooting
The heart rate monitor is not
working correctly.
The product is not recognized
correctly when it is connected to a
computer.
When communicating with a
computer, an error screen is
displayed and communication
stops.
Solution
Check the following items.
Make sure you are wearing the heart rate chest strap
O
correctly.
See "Wearing the heart rate chest strap" on page 63.
Check that he heart rate chest strap been registered
O
to the device.
See "Pairing the heart rate chest strap" on page 64.
Make sure the HR option set to ON.

Try resetting the heart rate chest strap. To reset the

heart rate chest strap, place the battery in the battery
compartment so that the negative side is facing up,
and leave it for three seconds.
Replace the battery.

Perform a system reset for the product.

Check the connection for the computer and the cradle.
Clean the contact points on the product and the cradle.

Do not move the product and the cradle during
communication. Avoid communicating data under
environments where static electricity can be easily
generated. If the same error occurs, reconnect the cradle
to start the communication again.
