Adjusting the Fill Reduction
System (FRS) Baffles
The fill reduction system allows you to reduce the amount of
clippings collected by varying degrees.
The advantages include less frequent emptying of the hopper
and the return of nutrients to the soil.
The following are possible configurations:
•
Baffles open with standard blades—maximum collection
•
Baffles closed with standard blades—partial mulching
•
Baffles closed with mulch blades—intermediate mulching
•
Mulch plug installed with mulch blades—complete
mulching (requires mulch kit)
