Polling reception
The polling reception feature allows you to call another party and instruct the other party's
machine to transmit a document to your number. (The other party's fax machine must be set to
polling transmission mode.)
The cost of the call is billed to the receiving party.
1. Press [MENU] once.

2. Press [SET1.
3. Dial the other party's fax number.
Example:
111-2222
You can use one-touch, speed dial
or number keys.
4. Press [SET1.
~ The unit begins dialing.
When the line is connected,
reception begins automatically.

Press [STOP] to interrupt a reception.
Note:
The other fax machine must be using international standard (ITU-T) polling.
