Playing messages (only for SFX-210)
When messages are recorded, the MSGS lamp blinks and the display shows the number of
received messages.

To play back messages:
1. Press [MESSAGES].

The display shows recorded date and time of the
playing messages,
2. You can skip, repeat or backskip messages,
To skip the next message, press [9].
To repeat a message, press [7].
To return to the previous message, press ~

If you keep messages you have heard, available memory space for new messages will
become small. We recommend
to erase as many messages as possible once you have
played them back. See next page for message erasing options.
To interrupt message playback, press [STOP].
When there are no messages recorded, 5 beeps sound when the [MESSAGES]
key is
pressed.
The display shows NO MESSAGES!.
If an incoming call arrives during message playback, playback stops and the SFX-21 O
rings.
If the caller does not speak for 6 seconds after the SFX-21 O starts recording, the unit
automatically
switches into fax receiving mode. The call may be counted as a message.
If the caller hangs up within 3 seconds after the line connects, the call will not be counted.
