Auto reception mode
AUTO reception operation sequence
1. When a call arrives, the SFX-1 10/210 connects to the line after it rings 3 times*.

* From this moment, callers will be charged for the phone call.

IMPORTANT
When you select AUTO mode, you may wish to change the ring delay settings to best suit
your fax and telephone
use — whether you have a dedicated fax number or you use a
single line for both fax and voice calls. Use the feature switches No. 07 and No. 09.

users

* Feature switch No. 07 (first set of rings) can be set to 2-11 rings.
Default setting is 3 rings.
* Feature switch No. 09 (second set of rings) can be set to no rings or 3-11 rings.
Default setting is 7 rings.
I For New Zealand users
I
* Feature switch No. 07 (first set of rings) can be set to a short ring or regular
rings (1-1 1 rings). Default setting is 3 rings.
** Feature switch No. 09 (second set of rings) can be set to no rings or 3-11 rings.
Default setting is 7 rings.

FAXKEL use
The default ring count settings for AUTO reception mode are designed to suit users
who have a single line for both fax and telephone
use, and wish to answer all voice
calls by themselves.
