37. Lift the engine unit slightly, and then lower
the front of the unit. Repeat this step until
the engine unit can be removed from the
engine compartment.
CAUTION:
When removing the engine unit, take care
to avoid causing damage to the hull and
deck opening.
38. Lift the engine unit out vertically.

Breather assembly check

CAUTION:
The breather assembly should not be dis-
assembled.
1. Check:
• Breather assembly
• Breather hoses
Cracks/damage → Replace the breather
assembly.

Engine mount check

1. Check:
• Engine mounts
Cracks/damage → Replace the engine
mounts.
NOTE:
When replacing the engine mounts, be sure to
check the coupling clearance.
