Air temperature display
(FX Cruiser SHO)
1. Check:
• Air temperature display
Incorrect reading → Replace the com-
pass and air temperature sensor.
Checking steps:
1. Measure the ambient air temperature.
2. Select the air temperature display mode of
the multifunction meter and check the air
temperature displayed on the meter.
3. Check the air temperature displayed on
the multifunction meter is less than ± 5 °C
(± 9 °F) different from the ambient air tem-
perature.
NOTE:
Check the air temperature display when the
engine is cold.
Water temperature display
(FX Cruiser SHO)
1. Check:
• Water temperature display
Incorrect reading → Measure the speed
and water temperature sensor resis-
tance.
Checking steps:
1. Measure the ambient water temperature.
2. Select the water temperature display
mode of the multifunction meter and check
the water temperature displayed on the
meter.
3. Check the water temperature displayed on
the multifunction meter is less than ± 5 °C
(± 9 °F) different from the ambient water
temperature.
